Biography

Dr. Azar obtained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He then completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at Yale followed by Internal Medicine Residency at Indiana University. He is trained in both Infectious Diseases (Yale) and Clinical Microbiology (Massachusetts General Hospital) with a focus on infections in the immunocompromised host and clinical mycology.
