  • Monday, November 15th at 12pm: join us for the second webinar in the Health Care of Afghan Refugees series - Supporting Adult and Child Mental Health.   • Monday, November 15th at 7:30-8pm and Wednesday, November 17th at 7:30-8pm: join us for Q&A sessions about applying for the Yale/Stanford Global Health Scholars Program for the 2022-23 academic year! Available rotations include our international collaboration sites in Rwanda, South Africa, and Uganda, as well as our domestic collaboration sites in Arizona (Navajo Nation/Indian Health Service) and rural Tennessee. For more information about the sites and the application process, visit the Yale/Stanford Global Health Scholars application page and take a look at the video at the bottom to hear more about the different sites from our faculty Site Directors and from returned Scholars. Zoom links for these sessions will be sent out in a separate email!

  • Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural Yogesh Khanal Pilot Project Award! This opportunity provides $2500 for a mentored clinical research or medical education project over 12 months (see attached). The deadline for applications is November 15th, 11:59pm; see attached application form. Please contact Sheela.Shenoi@yale.edu with questions.
  • The application platform is now open for the Department of Internal Medicine’s Cross-Distinction Resident Academic Fund! Through this fund, residents will have the opportunity to apply for awards of up to $500 per year. This money is intended to cover costs associated with presenting your Distinction Pathway-related work at a local, regional, national, or international conference, or other academic activities related to your participation in the Distinction Pathway. All Distinction Pathway residents are encouraged to apply, however, preference will be given to PGY-3s and PGY-4s, as well as (in the future) residents who have not previously received an award from this fund.
