Global Health & Equity Distinction Pathway News Update for March 8, 2021

March 07, 2021

Greetings, all –

Wishing you all a very happy International Women’s Day! Please see below for two exciting events in honor of this day that will be held this afternoon/evening.

The CUGH Annual Meeting is here! The (free) Pre-Conference Satellite sessions continue over the course of the week (https://www.cugh2021.org/satellite-sessions) so be sure to take a look at the offerings. And then the Consortium of Universities for Global Health 12th Annual Meeting - Addressing Critical Gaps in Global Health and Development itself will start on Friday, March 12th and run through Sunday, March 14th. As a reminder, all Distinction Pathway residents can apply to use the supplemental $500/person funding to cover registration costs (in addition to the academic funds from the GME Ofice that all residents have access to). Yale is a member of CUGH and medical residents are considered to be “students” for the purposes of the conference, so the registration cost at this time is $210 per person. For more information, visit: https://www.cugh2021.org
