Geriatrics-Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship

The two-year integrated Geriatrics - Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine track affords the fellow opportunity to be eligible for ACGME certification in both specialties by:

  • completing all required rotations in Geriatrics and Hospice Palliative Care Medicine in rotations lasting 16 months,
  • eight months designated time for leadership and other educational activities over the course of the two-year period,
  • work with faculty from both Geriatrics and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine at both Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale-New Haven Bridgeport Hospital and various out-patient clinical sites,
  • receive ongoing, close mentorship from Yale faculty throughout the course of the fellowship.

The combined Program offers one position per year through the NRMP. Applications are submitted through eRAS under the Yale Geriatric Medicine Fellowship.
