Dr. Brenner has built a practice of internal medicine in the community with a strong emphasis on preventive care, complex diagnosis, and up to date management of common internal medicine problems such as hypertension and diabetes. He emphasizes the importance of listening, giving patients the time they need and sharing in medical decisions.
He has participated in intern selection for the Department of Medicine, has taught second year medical students in his office (and, with pride, has seen some of those students go on to achieve positions of distinction at the Medical School) and is on the Voluntary Faculty Appointments and Reappointments committe. He has been included in Best Doctors in America for over 20 years and is one of Castle and Connolly's Best Docs.
