Kelly McGinnis Hager MD MPH is from Hereford, Arizona - a small, rural border town nestled in the Huachuca Mountains. Prior to medical school, she completed a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Community Health Practice, and designed infection control curricula and advocacy/education programs. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale. As a fellow in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, she enjoys teaching medical students/resident physicians and remains active in health policy, with continued interest in hospital infection control, patient/healthcare worker safety, toxicology and the connection between environmental exposures and autoimmune disease.
