Training Opportunities

The Equity Research and Innovation Center at Yale School of Medicine is committed to cultivating the next generation of health equity leaders. We are dedicated to fostering professional development opportunities for students of diverse fields with an interest in health equity including undergraduates, medical students, public health students, and social work students.

Student Research Internship (SRI) positions are open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. Positions are available in fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students who are interested in SRI opportunities can complete an SRI application or submit their resume, cover letter, and a writing sample to eric.ysm@yale.edu. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed at in August for fall semester, January for spring semester, and April for summer semester.

Postgraduate Associate (PGA) positions are open to recent graduates from accredited undergraduate or graduate programs. PGA positions are for one year, generally starting in the summer or early fall. Graduating students and recent graduates who are interested in PGA opportunities can complete a PGA application or submit their resume, cover letter, and a writing sample to eric.ysm@yale.edu. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed in March/April for the following academic year.
