Translational Studies
The following studies are currently recruiting subjects for procurement of biospecimens amenable to translational studies of tissue regeneration and fibrosis:
-
Yale Lung Repository
Procurement of biospecimens from adult subjects with all forms of lung disease including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease, Asthma, and Pleural Disease. -
Progenitor cell population in Diffuse Lung Disease
Evaluation of progenitor cell function in the lungs and circulation of adult subjects with diffuse parenchymal lung disease, COPD, pulmonary vascular disease, and scleroderma. -
Translational Studies of Scleroderma Lung Involvement Evaluation of gene expression profiles in skin and circulation of subjects with Scleroderma that do and do not have lung involvement.
-
GRADS – Genomic Research in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Disease and Sarcoidosis
Procurement of biospecimens to be used in determining the lung microbiome in subjects with A1AT or sarcoidosis.
