Yale Summer Course in Clinical Trials

Join the Yale School of Public Health for the Summer Course in Clinical Trials, June 28-29, 2021. This workshop will take place via remote instruction this summer.

Participants will gain knowledge of the key components of clinical trials including but not limited to trial phase and design, randomization schemes, selection of outcome, and appropriate statistical analysis including sample size and power considerations, ethics, and regulatory affairs.

New for 2021: One-page clinical trial proposal/protocol (optional)

In addition to the didactic portion of the course, applicants have the optional opportunity to provide a one-page clinical trial proposal/protocol that will be reviewed by the faculty. From any proposals that are submitted, several will be selected by the faculty and discussed during the workshop session at the end of each day. All applicants who submit a proposal will receive feedback from the faculty. Those proposals selected for discussion during the afternoon workshop sessions will receive live feedback from the faculty and course participants.
