Topic: Novel Approaches to Using Long Acting Injectable Forms of Medication treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand underlying issues related to the use of longer acting formulations of medication treatments for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
  2. Consider the different formulations of long acting MOUD , dosages, administration differences and side effects.
  3. Describe novel populations that might benefit from long acting forms of MOUD and learn about ongoing research that is evaluating the use of these forms of MOUD.
