Yale Cardiovascular Medicine Grand Rounds: "Value and Innovation in Heart Failure Management: Perspectives from the Health System Level to the Individual Patient"

Katherine Clark, MD, MBA, is an incoming Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant fellow at Yale Cardiovascular Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she distinguished herself as an outstanding medical resident. In 2015, she earned an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School of Business.

While at Yale, Clark is an active member of the Women in Cardiology Connecticut Chapter of the ACC, the national ACC Women in Cardiology Communications Work Group, and the Take her Health to Heart Coalition. Her research interests focus on innovation in the care of heart failure patients through evaluating both therapeutics, as well as technologies with advanced imaging techniques, and understand their impact on clinical outcomes, payment models, and healthcare utilization, while collaborating with the various healthcare sectors and stakeholders.
