The Yale Diabetes Research Center Symposium is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 15, in the Harkness Auditorium, Sterling Hall of Medicine, from 12n-4:30pm. The Symposium kicks off with a luncheon and poster session, followed by a Welcome address from Robert Sherwin, MD, and presentations that include "Pathway to the Artificial Pancreas" (Stuart Weinzimer, MD); "How Mitochondria 'Sense' Metabolism" (Richard Kibbey, MD, PhD); "Harnessing Immune-Metabolic Interactions to Enhance Healthspan" (Vishwa Deep Dixit, DVM, PhD); and "The New Biology of Diabetes" (Domenico Accili, MD).
