The Yale AIDS program continues to welcome research projects that are beneficial for patients, science and medicine, from:
- basic research (Elite controllers, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular changes with aging, etc.) to
- clinical research (HIV and Alcohol, Transition of inmate to primary care, Timing of ART initiation, etc.) to
- clinical trials (No Nukes, New ART agents, Genotype testing, etc.).
The resident will be encouraged to develop, conduct and present a research project by the end of the third year.
