Understanding the skin-to-lymph node axis in lupus pathogenesis

The Lucille & Joseph Madri lecture was established through the generosity of Lucille and Joseph Madri to highlight groundbreaking basic and translational research in Yale’s Department of Pathology. This year's inaugural lecturer is Dr. Theresa Lu, St. Giles Chair for Research in the HSS Research Institute, is a faculty member in Pediatric Rheumatology and in Rheumatology at HSS, and is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and Professor Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She will be speaking about delineating the roles of Langerhans cell ADAM17 and lymphatic communication in modulating skin and lymph node dysfunction in lupus.
