On May 24, Yale School of Medicine (YSM) celebrated the Class of 2021 in a virtual commencement ceremony. One faculty member within the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine received a prestigious award.

The Charles W. Bohmfalk Prize for teaching in the basic sciences went to Sarah C. Hull, MD, MBE, an assistant professor of clinical medicine and the associate director of the Program for Biomedical Ethics. The Charles W. Bohmfalk Teaching Prize is one of YSM’s highest faculty awards, and Hull was chosen by a committee consisting of faculty and students.

“Dr. Hull’s commitment to education reinforces that a busy clinician can play an important role in educating future physicians in the basic sciences,” said Eric J. Velazquez, MD.
