Director’s Welcome: Yale Heart Failure

We have made remarkable progress in medical and surgical therapies for patients living with heart failure. These interventions can add decades to our patients’ lives and help them achieve the best quality of life possible.

I am proud to lead one of largest and finest heart failure programs in the country.

The Yale Heart Failure Program serves as a model for individualized patient care using the most cutting-edge treatments available. For example, our mechanical circulatory support and heart transplant programs have consistently been one of the largest in the North East. Our group also leads the country in research, ranging from basic science and translational to implementation science. Our faculty are sought after speakers at national meetings, help write treatment guidelines, and are on the editorial boards of several top journals.
