INFORMATION FOR

Ambulatory Services

Under the leadership of Daniel Price, MD, Yale Cardiovascular Medicine offers a full range of cardiology services in the ambulatory setting at locations throughout Southern Connecticut. Through the Yale New Haven Heart and Vascular Center, services are provided by Yale faculty physicians in easily accessible and patient-friendly facilities. These sites provide not only consultative services but also comprehensive non-invasive diagnostic testing.

Clinical Environment

Yale Cardiovascular Medicine is proud to offer a comprehensive outpatient practice, not only located at our main campus in New Haven, but sites from Greenwich to Westerly, Rhode Island. Our practices are very busy and last year accounted for over 102,000 patient visits.

A wide variety of cardiovascular patients are seen at our practice sites in addition to general cardiology care including electrophysiology, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, cardiac genetics, preventative cardiology, interventional and peripheral vascular disease, and valvular heart disease. We offer pacemaker and ICD device management, outpatient intravenous diuretic therapy, Coumadin (warfarin) management, and medication titration clinics.

State-of-the-art testing is offered on site including standard and 3D echocardiography, comprehensive vascular ultrasound, all modalities of stress testing including nuclear and echo imaging, peripheral vascular testing, and ambulatory ECG monitoring.

Our practice sites provide a continuity of care for our patients who are hospitalized throughout the Yale New Haven Health System. As Yale faculty, we have the privilege of training the next generation of cardiovascular specialists and many of our sites are staffed by Yale fellows working with faculty cardiologists.
