My particular interests within the field of allergy and immunology include treatment of chronic urticaria (idiopathic or autoimmune hives), angioedema (particularly hereditary angioedema), and aspirin/non-steroidal antinflammatory sensitivity (AKA aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease - AERD, or aspirin-sensitive asthma with nasal polyposis, or Samter's Triad). I am one of few allergists in the CT/metro NYC area who routinely performs aspirin desensitizations for AERD patients.
