Why Making the Right Diagnosis Matters
Differentiating between borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bipolar disorder to make the correct diagnosis has important implications for treatment decision making, prognosis, and Veteran specific concerns regarding service connection. In this live, knowledge-based training, we will review diagnostic criteria between BPD and bipolar disorder, two disorders with prominent mood instability and impulsivity.
