Apply

The INP and the BBS

Students seeking entry into the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program apply through the Neuroscience Track of Yale's Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program via the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences 'Apply Now' online application. The BBS is an umbrella program that encompasses many other fields of study in the biological sciences in addition to neuroscience.

Students who are accepted into the BBS program in the Neuroscience track will first complete one year of course work and lab rotations as BBS students. At the end of the first year of study, students in all tracks of the BBS are required to select a dissertation adviser, at which point they move from the BBS track and formally join a degree-granting program. The Neuroscience Track students join the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program.
