Dr. Kyle Tretina is a postdoctoral associate working with Dr. John D. MacMicking at the Yale University School of Medicine on innate immunity to parasites. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he completed work on host-pathogen interactions and genomics of apicomplexan parasites. When he is not in the lab, he enjoys exploring local food options with his wife, Jessica, and playing sports.
