Rahanna graduated from Adelphi University with her B.S. in Biology and from St. John's University with her M.S. in Toxicology. As a graduate student she studied the effects of acute lead exposure on neuroimmune cells and has pursued further work in immunobiology as a postgraduate with Dr. Alicia Little. Rahanna currently studies mechanisms of infiltrating T cells in discoid lupus.
