TAC Aria-A( S617)

This special order BD FACSAriaII is located in room TAC S617.

The 19-parameter, 5-laser system includes:

• 24 mW 355nm UV laser with 2 PMTs
• 200 mW 405nm Violet laser with 4 PMTs
• 100 mW 488nm Blue laser with 4 PMTs, with two of them dedicated to fluorescence
• 150 mW 532nm Green laser with 5 PMTs
• 140 mW 637nm Red laser with 3 PMTs .

This sorter is equipped with PMT for enhanced detection of the forward scatter.

FACSAria II is capable of sorting with 70, 85 and 100 micron nozzles.

TAC Aria-A will NOT sort:

• Any microbial samples
• Cells derived from the gut with high bacterial content (intestine, pelvic lavage, ...)
• Skin cells
• Cells from the esophagus and upper lung

Self-sorting is not permitted on this machine.
