Aetna Foundation Prize for Health Equity Innovation Seed Stage Grants

With the support of the Aetna Foundation, InnovateHealth Yale offers funding to student teams focused on reducing health disparities in the United States.

Two $5,000 seed awards to develop technological solutions to address health challenges that disproportionately impact low-income communities. Solutions which employ mobile technology are actively encouraged, but the prize is open to any proposed improvement involving a technological solution. Applications are open to both Yale students and students from any college or university in Connecticut. Also eligible to apply are medical residents, post-docs, and junior faculty. One seed award will be given to a team from Yale; and one to a team from one or more other colleges in CT. Winning teams must agree to compete in the $25,000 Aetna Foundation Prize for Health Equity Innovation (below). Awardees will receive mentoring to help prepare for the $25,000 Aetna prize.

Please complete the application by midnight, November 27, 2017. If you have any questions, please email
