Over the next few months, the school will begin redesigning the Weekly Digest email to include news and announcements, transforming it into a weekly newsletter about happenings at YSM.
The first phase of development includes adding an Announcements section at the top of the email. The Office of Institutional Planning and Communications (our parent office) is creating an Announcements page on the main YSM website and “featured” announcements from there will be added to the Weekly Digest. You'll begin seeing announcements in the Weekly Digest in late August.
If you have an announcement that could be appropriate for school-wide distribution, you can load it into the News module of the Faculty Profile System and tag it with the organization “YSM Announcements”. You can also contact Michael Fitzsousa, the Weekly Digest editor, directly and he can let you know if the announcement meets the criteria to be included in the Weekly Digest.
In the fall, we’ll continue the Weekly Digest’s redesign and begin adding “featured” news to the email. Stay tuned!
