EMD Seminar Series: Joseph Vinetz "Leptospirosis is a Neglected Tropical Disease: So what, and what should we do about it?"

Dr. Vinetz is Professor of Medicine in the Section of Infectious Diseases. He is also Research Professor in the Faculty of Sciences and Laboratory of Research and Development at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and Associated Investigator of the Alexander von Humboldt Institute of Tropical Medicine at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, in Lima, Peru. His research in global health and infectious diseases is problem-based and applies fundamental laboratory approaches. This work is based in his lab at Yale and in the field in Peru, Brazil, and Sri Lanka.
