M. Virginia Chapman, AIA


Virginia Chapman is a registered architect with a Masters of Architecture degree from Yale University School of Architecture. With Tai Soo Kim Partners and other firms she has had extensive design and construction experience with major institutional buildings. As Director of YSM FC&R she has overseen management of design and construction of numerous research, clinical and infrastructure projects including the Sterling Hall of Medicine B Wing Addition, The Anlyan Center and the Amistad Street Building. She served on the Yale Advisory Committee for Environmental Management and currently is a member of the Yale Sustainability Working Group. She has taught architecture at Yale and Hampshire College and was editor for Perspecta, the Yale Architectural Journal.
