Biography
Dr. Liu, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the Yale Eye Center, specializes in cataract, glaucoma and anterior segment diseases. His clinical interests include medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implant, and anterior segment surgeries. Dr. Liu completed ophthalmology residency at the George Washington University and served as Chief Resident during his senior year of training. He completed a glaucoma clinical fellowship in Yale University. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Liu is actively involved in clinical and translational ophthalmic research. He published many research articles and presents frequently in the national and international conferences. Dr. Liu is a Fellow of American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
