Newly Matched Ophthalmology Retina Fellow: Dr. Viren Rana

We are pleased to announce that we have matched with Dr. Viren Rana for our Retina Fellowship program. Dr. Viren Rana is the current Ophthalmology Chief Resident at Brown University. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Broadcasting Journalism in 2014 from Saint Louis University. He graduated with his medical degree in 2019 from Kansas City University of Medicine. During medical school, Viren served as the Clinical Anatomy Fellow and received his master’s in Clinical Anatomy and Research. His interests include cooking, trying new foods, traveling, and being outdoors (especially in the water). A fun fact, Dr. Rana is an avid dancer, and his hobbies include choreography and photography.
