Newly Matched Ophthalmology Glaucoma Fellow: Dr. Luke Barnard

We are pleased to announce that we have matched with Dr. Luke Barnard for our Glaucoma Fellowship. Dr. Luke Barnard is a current Ophthalmology Resident at Yale University. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2013 with a Chemistry major and a focus in Biochemistry. He graduated with his medical degree in 2019 from Kansas City University of Medicine. During medical school, Luke served as the Students as Scholars Content Facilitator. His outgoing personality and eclectic interests help him to connect easily with patients and with coworkers. His interests include being an avid fan of international soccer (especially FC Barcelona) and Jayhawk basketball. He frequently plays soccer, golf, and bowls. Additionally, Dr. Barnard enjoys travelling with his wife. They have lived in China for 3 months where he taught English, as well as travelled to Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Spain, China, Hong Kong with plans to work in South Africa on an international clerkship.
