Kick Love Data Week off with a special data film experience, hosted by the Yale Film Archive (YFA) in their Screening Room!

The Human Face of Big Data chronicles the rise of big data, its promises and its perils. Narrated by actor, writer, and producer Joel McHale, this film was described as "visceral and emotional" by Wired magazine and won a 'best cinematography' award from the Boston International Film Festival.

  • Food is NOT permitted in the Film Archive. Non-alcoholic beverages are permissible in approved spill-proof containers only.
  • Capacity is limited; registration is required!

  • The YFA is located on the seventh floor of the Sterling Memorial Library, at 120 High Street, New Haven, CT 06511. The YFA Screening Room is in SML Room 710.
  • Entry to the Archive requires a Yale ID.
