DESCRIPTION:All members of the campus community are welcomed to the fifth 
 annual New Haven Voices panel. This year's theme is "Better Futures for O
 ur City's Youth." Dinner will be provided\; please register here by Oct. 
 5 This year\, we will be joined by panelists from the Connecticut Violenc
 e Intervention Program (CTVIP )\, which works to disrupt\, prevent\, and 
 stop the spread of violence through crisis intervention and proactive rel
 ationships with the highest-risk youths and the institutions that impact 
 their lives. Speakers from CTVIP will share both their experiences and ex
 pertise in how early intervention and community-based violence prevention
  can help create safer\, healthier\, and more positive outcomes for teens
  and young adults in New Haven. Following the panel discussion\, audience
  members will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to beco
 me involved in community-based initiatives to support youth\, prevent vio
 lence\, and help build a stronger future for New Haven. Speakers from CTV
