 n (YSM ETI) team will host a Citizen Developer Workshop as part of the Te
 chnology in Medical Education Innovation Series (TIME Series) \, schedule
 d for October 16\, 2026\, at the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library team-bas
 ed learning classroom (SHM L 115). This interactive session introduces th
 e principles of citizen development—empowering non‑IT professionals to de
 sign simple digital solutions in a Yale-approved platform. The workshop w
 ill focus on building basic apps for medical education and academic workf
 lows in a Yale-approved platform that meets the institution's standards f
 or data protection\, accessibility\, and sustainability. In advance\, a t
 oolkit with mini-teaches for tutorials on how to use common Yale AI tools
  will be shared with participants. During the workshop participants will 
 learn how to identify a good candidate problem\, understand which AI tool
 s are appropriate\, when to engage a Yale IT professional for review\, an
 d spend most of the time hands-on building a solution for their own educa
 tion workflow. By the end of workshop\, participants are expected to have
  a functional prototype to use or modify. Bring a laptop. No coding or te
 chnical background is needed—just curiosity and an interest in innovating
