DESCRIPTION:Stacy Remke\, MSW\, LICSW\, APHSW-C\, FNAP\, has devoted more 
 than two decades to caring for children with life-threatening and complex
  chronic conditions and supporting their families across hospital\, home\
 , and community settings. She was a founder of the palliative care servic
 e at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota\, one of the first ped
 iatric palliative care programs in the United States. Among her many prof
 essional accomplishments\, Stacy was a co-investigator on the National Ca
 ncer Institute-funded EPEC-Pediatrics curriculum\, a landmark initiative 
 in pediatric palliative care education. She has taught this curriculum na
 tionally and internationally and has contributed extensively to the devel
 opment of knowledge and best practices in pediatric palliative care. Stac
 y has also held significant national leadership roles\, including serving
  on the Board of the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network (SWH
 PN) and as its chair from 2021–2022. She has served on the national advis
 ory board of the pediatric interest group of the National Hospice and Pal
 liative Care Organization and as faculty for the Center to Advance Pallia
 tive Care's Palliative Care Leadership Center. In recognition of her cont
 ributions to health care and social work\, Stacy was inducted as a Fellow
  of the National Academies of Practice in its Social Work Academy. She is
  also a certified hospice and palliative care social work specialist (APH
