DESCRIPTION:This session will be held in a hybrid format\, in person at 23
 0 South Frontage Road while also available via Zoom\, and split to includ
 e a research presentation for half of the meeting in the usual YCSC Resea
 rch in Progress format. The other half will be focused on broader departm
 ental research updates and discussion\, effectively merging with YCSC Res
 earch Community Meetings. YCSC research in progress sessions —organized b
 y Helena Rutherford\, Ellen Hoffman\, and Kathy Ayala—offer an opportunit
 y to learn about and share new studies and emerging findings from across 
 the center. All are welcome to present and attend\, including students an
 d trainees\, as well as faculty and staff. In addition to the traditional
  research/data presentations\, presenters are encouraged to share specifi
 c aims they may be working on for grants or study design ideas. Each spea
 ker is typically allotted 20 minutes to present plus 5 minutes for Q&A. Y
 CSC research community meetings are led by Tom Fernandez with the goal of
  providing an opportunity to share news\, discuss new initiatives\, and w
 ork together to shape and advance research priorities in the department. 
 As always\, all in the YCSC community are welcome to participate in these
