DESCRIPTION:Dr. Ana Isabel Baptista is an Associate Professor in the Envir
 onmental Policy and Sustainability Management graduate program at The New
  School University. She is also the Director of the Tishman Environment &
  Design Center at The New School. Dr. Baptista’s research and practice sp
 an several areas including equitable climate mitigation and energy polici
 es\, cumulative impacts and environmental justice policies\, and land use
  and zoning approaches for EJ. Ana was appointed to the Fourth New York C
 ity Panel on Climate Change where she co-chaired the Equity Workgroup and
  was recently appointed to the NYC Environmental Justice Advisory Board. 
 She also serves on the Executive Advisory Council of the Megalopolitan Co
 astal Transformation Hub (MACH). Ana is the co-founder for the Environmen
 tal Justice Disrupt Design Fellowship\, a national fellowship program for
  EJ leaders. She is an Associate Editor for the Environmental Justice Jou
 rnal and the Journal of Climate Resilience and Climate Justice. Ana serve
 s on the Board of Trustees for the Victoria Foundation\, the Ironbound Co
 mmunity Corp.\, and the New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance.\n\nSpe
