 , and she has been appointed to the National Academies of Sciences\, Engi
 neering\, and Medicine’s Committee on the Framework for the Consideration
  of Chronic Conditions in Women and to the Committee on the Examination o
 f the Integration of Opioid and Infectious Disease Prevention Efforts in 
 Select Programs. Her research centers on the integration of substance use
  and infectious diseases with a focus on opioid use disorder treatment an
 d the treatment and prevention of HIV infection. In 2022\, she was awarde
 d a NIDA Avant Garde award for her innovative proposal to bring mobile he
 alth care for substance use and infectious diseases to where people live\
 , through a mobile pharmacy and clinic. She has published over 150 manusc
 ripts and book chapters. She is the director of her clinical research lab
  InSTRIDE (Integrating Substance use Treatment Research with Infectious D
 isease for Everyone) which encompasses a multidisciplinary team including
  research staff\, clinicians\, community health workers\, and patient nav
 igators as well as a mobile health unit and a mobile pharmacy and clinic.
