  of major crises—including 9/11\, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooti
 ng\, and the COVID-19 pandemic—where he provided guidance to communities\
 , clinicians\, and policymakers. Beyond his clinical and policy contribut
 ions\, Marans is a dedicated teacher\, mentor\, and psychoanalyst\, deepl
