FASPE Multidisciplinary Info Session: "Summer Ethics Fellowship for Graduate Students and Early Career Professionals"

Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) is now accepting applications for its 2016 programs in business, journalism, law, medicine, and religion. FASPE uses the conduct of professionals during the Holocaust and in Nazi Germany as a launching point for an intensive course of study on contemporary professional ethics. FASPE is predicated upon the power of place. Fellows visit Auschwitz and other sites in Germany and Poland where they work with leading faculty in their fields to consider how to apply the lessons of history to the ethical challenges of their professions today.

Ten to 15 Fellows from each profession will be chosen to participate in FASPE 2016 through a competitive application process. All program costs, including travel to Europe from New York and back, European travel, lodging, and food are covered. Business, Journalism, and Law Fellows travel together and share some seminars; Medical and Seminary Fellows travel together and share some seminars.

The dates for 2016 are:
Business, Journalism, and Law: May 20 – June 2, 2016
Medical and Seminary: June 17 – June 30, 2016

FASPE is non-denominational. Candidates of all religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Applications and more details are available at www.FASPE.info. Graduate students, recent MBAs, and journalists early in their careers, are eligible.

The deadline for FASPE Medical and Seminary applications is December 22, 2015. The deadline for FASPE Business, Journalism, and Law applications is January 5, 2016.
