Learning Objectives:
- Explain the disparities encountered by racial and ethnic minoritized populations with opioid use disorder.
- Identify and analyze the key barriers and facilitators that impact treatment engagement among racial and ethnic minoritized populations, particularly in emergency department settings.
- Assess the effectiveness of emergency department-based interventions in improving treatment engagement and addressing structural barriers for racial and ethnic minoritized populations with opioid use disorder.
Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM
