Title: Unmasking ALD Early: Hospitalization as a Catalyst for Change
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the prevalence and clinical significance of undiagnosed liver disease in hospitalized patients with alcohol use disorder.
- Evaluate the utility and limitations of noninvasive liver disease screening tools in the inpatient setting
- Discuss the potential impact of early liver disease detection on short and long-term outcomes and healthcare utilization in patients AUD
