Title: Unmasking ALD Early: Hospitalization as a Catalyst for Change

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the prevalence and clinical significance of undiagnosed liver disease in hospitalized patients with alcohol use disorder.
  2. Evaluate the utility and limitations of noninvasive liver disease screening tools in the inpatient setting
  3. Discuss the potential impact of early liver disease detection on short and long-term outcomes and healthcare utilization in patients AUD

Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
