Urology CME Event

The Department of Urology is hosting their first Prostate cancer CME event titled, “The Evolving Role of Imaging in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer.”    This event will be held in conjunction with and will include speakers from the Yale Departments of Urology, Pathology, Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Biomedical Engineering, and Medical Oncology.    Over the years, MRI has emerged as the best imaging modality to detect, grade, and stage prostate cancer. This one-day course will provide a comprehensive overview of the utility of MRI for comprehensive cancer care. In addition, we will review application of MRI in surgical planning for robotic prostatectomy, prostate biopsy planning, active surveillance of prostate cancer, and radiation planning.    There will also be opportunities for interaction with all faculty speakers.    All are invited to attend and anyone associated with Yale is FREE. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.    For more detailed information and for registration, visit: http://yaleurology.ticketleap.com/yale-cme/   Who?
