This will be a current and authoritative one day course on systemic lupus erythematosus, with comprehensive sessions on pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment. Our distinguished faculty will interact with participants through didactic lectures and interactive panel discussions.

Objectives

At the end of this symposium, participants will be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based diagnostic criteria and assessment tools, in collaboration with interprofessional care team members, to accurately diagnose patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
  • Implement guideline-concordant, team-based treatment strategies to optimize the management of patients with SLE across disease stages.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging therapies for SLE into shared, interprofessional clinical decision-making, aligned with the roles and responsibilities of the care team.
