ONLINE SESSIONS: Public Health Librarian Summer Office Hours

This summer, we’ll have two different time slots, so that you can talk with your librarian no matter what time zone you’re in.

Thursday mornings, 8-9 AM in New Haven: https://yalelibrary.zoom.us/j/97009241894

Thursday afternoons, 3-4:30 PM in New Haven: https://yalelibrary.zoom.us/j/93751865606

We might occasionally cancel or reschedule a session. If we do, we’ll announce it on the CWML class calendar at https://library.medicine.yale.edu/classes.

These office hours are drop-in sessions for the whole Yale School of Public Health community. Join us for as much time or as little time as you want, depending on the topic you want to discuss. No reservations – just click the link and I’ll let you in from the waiting room. Accessing free ebooks from Yale, HathiTrust, and the Internet Archive National Emergency Library? Finding public-use data, or potential collaborators with data? Choosing a journal for an article submission? Using Yale’s subscriptions to newspapers like the NYT, Washington Post, FT, The Economist? Lit reviews: internship preceptors like them just as much as professors do! Reading journal articles after your Yale credentials stop working? Your question here!

DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR OFFICE HOURS TO ASK A QUESTION? Nope! There are lots of ways to get help: • Email the public health librarian: kate.nyhan@yale.edu • Schedule a meeting: http://bit.ly/kate-ysph • Email the library: AskYaleMedicalLibrary@yale.edu
