Genetics Department Seminar Series: "Making Faces: Transcriptional Enhancers and Emergence of Form and Function during Development and Evolution"

In the first part of my talk, I will discuss the role of transcriptional enhancers in mediating individual variation and disease of human craniofacial form. In the second part of my talk, I will talk about how cranial neural crest cells gain their extraordinary differentiation potential.
