Hobbies/Interests: Backpacking, scuba diving, cooking, pugs, all Philadelphia sports, and Beating Navy!
Past Life: Medical Services Officer in US Army, deployment with 3rd Infantry Division to Iraq in 2007-2008, Police Officer in Savannah GA, Paramedic in Savannah and Atlanta GA.
Academic Interests: Critical Care, EMS.
Favorite activities in New Haven: Eating all the pizza I can find, then backpacking for weeks at a time on the Appalachian Trail to burn off all those calories.
Why Yale EM: Rigorous academics at a world class institution with excellent clinical exposure; PD is pretty awesome too.
Random factoid: If I weren’t a doctor, I’d love to be a train-hopping hobo and to travel the continent that way.
