Lisa Hile, MD joins the Yale faculty after serving as an Emergency Physician in the U.S. Army for nearly 10 years. She is a 2002 graduate from The University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine training at Darnall Army Medical Center in Ft. Hood, TX. She was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for service as an Emergency Physician at Ibn Sina Hospital in Baghdad Iraq from 2008 to 2009. She was awarded the Army Meritorious Service Medal for her work as an attending physician in the Army's Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. She served as Assistant Residency Director while at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Hile's research interests are in the areas of resident and medical student education, wilderness medicine, and critical care.
