Dr. Jessica Walrath is an Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cornell University in 2009, Dr. Walrath completed medical school at the Penn State College of Medicine in 2013. She did her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, serving as Chief Resident during her final year of residency. She joined the Yale faculty in 2017 as the first Wilderness Medicine Fellow with a particular interest in expedition medicine, sports medicine, dive medicine, medicine in low resource settings, and disaster relief.
