DrivSim Lab faculty will speak at the Children's Safety Network Webinar to discuss teen driving safety on Monday, August 23, 2021. This webinar will focus on recent research and implications of prevention. Dr. Barbara Banz will discuss the neuroscience of driving for teens and the complexity in teen crashes from a developmental perspective. Dr. Federico Vaca will share his work on the relatively newer phenomenon of teens delaying their driving licensure, including advantages and disadvantages, contributing factors, differences among racial/ethnic groups, and implications for graduated driving licensure and teen driver safety.
