The study findings, recently presented at the 64th Annual Scientific Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine and published in the journal Traffic Injury Prevention, point to factors that might explain why some pediatric vehicle occupant crash victims are not transported to hospitals for medical evaluation.
